NiN släpper nytt, och gratis dessutom
Så släpper NiN eller Trent Reznor nytt igen, och som han gör det. Reznor som alltid utmanat skivbranschen släpper en samling av 36 nya låtar, varav 9 är tillgängliga för gratis nedladdning från NiN:s hemsida. Nu har jag ju inte lyssna på NiN så värst mycket, lite från The Downward Spiral och White Teeth. Hurt vet ju vilken människa som helst vilken låt det är, eller borde veta nu efter att Johnny Cash gjorde en så grym version.
NiN har ju alltid varit intressant, mörkt och dystert, och nu ska jag försöka få nån slags introduktion till denna grupp, eller artist, hur man nu ser det. Samtidigt som jag skriver detta försöker jag ladda ner de första nio låtarna, vilket tydligen ska ta tid, pga ett helt enormt intresse.
Edit: Laddat ner Ghosts I nu, inne på tredje låten. Stämningen i de två första känns ensam, mörk, melankolisk, mycket piano och ambiance. På den tredje låten ändrar musiken stämning och blir lite mer elektronisk/industriell. Vet inte varför, men jag får den känslan av att det kan vara nåt bra på gång. Ännu ingen sång.

"We began improvising and let the music decide the direction. Eyes were closed, hands played instruments and it began. Within a matter of days it became clear we were on to something, and a lot of material began appearing. What we thought could be a five song EP became much more.
